In consideration of my being permitted to participate as a volunteer, mentor, or intern for My New House, I agree as follows: I understand that My New House serves families who the security system of the United States may protect. I will not utilize any information from My New House, such as rosters, contacts, pictures, etc., for the promotion of any activity unrelated to My New House nor to be used for personal gain or made available for commercial or solicitation purposes. I will not be paid for my services as a volunteer. My email address will be added to My New House E-Newsletter. I must follow My New House's rules and regulations, such as dress code, core values, etc. My New House does not own or lease any parking premises. Therefore, I am responsible for finding parking while volunteering for My New House, and I don't make My New House accountable for any damage to my car or parking ticket. I grant My New House and any persons authorized by My New House the absolute right to copyright, reuse, publish, and republish by any medium, including any photos of me that may be taken while participating in My New House activities and programming. I will not be covered by or eligible for any insurance coverage (if any) provided by My New House, including, but not limited to, medical, property, automobile, accident and liability insurance, and Worker's Compensation benefits. I acknowledge that there may be inherent risks and dangers arising during activities. I assume all risks of illness, injury, or death. I agree not to sue and to release from liability, indemnify and hold harmless My New House, their officers, agents, employees, insurers (if any), and independent contractors from any claims, demands, liability, damages, causes of action, injuries and losses regardless of the cause resulting from my participation at My New House. I agree that any dispute or claim arising out of my participation as a volunteer, mentor, or intern, the interpretation or validity of and the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, shall be determined by arbitration in Los Angeles, before a sole arbitrator, following California law before and under the applicable rules of the Los Angeles, California office of the American Arbitration Association. I have carefully read this agreement and fully understand its contents. I am aware this agreement contains an assumption of risk and release of liability and is a binding contract between myself and My New House, and I sign it of my own free will.
